Ar Tonelico 3, or my new favorite game, is only getting more and more interesting in my book. I was considering waiting till we had another barrage of information to post about, but this is too good to pass up...
Stripping is a gameplay mechanic...
Apparently you become increasingly more powerful as your clothing covers less. “By showing more skin, they are able to absorb more of the planet’s energy.” I, I, just don't know what to say. The Banzai Effect noticed the peculiar fact that this image include the option "Strip" (2nd choice,) but it seem that now we know why. I'll give the game its chance to justify its perversion, as hopefully we get different outfits, instead of ending the final battle with a pile of nudists... which is cool too, just in a "different" way.
The full quote from Canned Dogs
Producer Kawachi Atsunori explained the reason behind how the heroine costumes start showing more skin when they activate songs, saying that “By showing more skin, they are able to absorb more of the planet’s energy”. There were some small snickers coming from the audience after hearing this, but he continued saying
“The world can only be saved because the heroines took off their clothes!”
And everybody laughed and clapped their hands.
You can catch a little bit of it and the costume changes toward the end of this recently released promotional video.

also i like the idea of Strip to save the world, but it douse look like there will be a lot more costumes. I some how doudt though that all the costumes will follow this trend
Dude, that's a dumb game mechanic, seriously.
^this Xd
I only ever managed to play the first third of ar tonelico (I have RPG ADD and can't really bring myself to ever finish one, or, in fact, many other games), but GUST has figured out what their audience want, and it's dive shops and crystal insertions.
(and Akiko Shikata)
I wish Bandai would localize and dub the Code Geass RPG. That looked like fun. I liked the voice commands options.

it's quite logical if said energy is absorbed by the skin
But is the game any good?
how much do you like being lelouch slave?
What does that have to do with playing the game??
since, that is what you basically do.....
you are a member of the black knight , who came from britain and was geassed by lelouch or not.......
you got your own geass later on, or at least immunity towards it
In the trailer I added, to the game I'm talking about, you play as a couple of the character through the story of the first season of Code Geass on the Nintedo DS. It has voice commands you use in battle. So, you only have to say the name of the person you want to attack with you.
I believe you are thinking of the PSP game Code Geass: Lost Colors, which is not the game I'm talking about.
the ds right?, where in the end you fought two OC ?
more or less that's one is a question of
how much do you like grinding, and making scenario
