And the New FUNimation Licenses are as Follows...

Oh my god you are never going to guess this.

Yes, as you probably already have guessed, this isn’t your normal FUNimation license; in fact this probably isn’t considered a license at all. They will be releasing to the west 15 live-action films from the Shaw Brother Studios series of films. The Shaw Brothers are known for their Hong Kong martial arts film, which they made over a thousand of.

The movies that we will be seeing are as follows, 14 Amazons, Shaolin Hand Lock, Sword of Swords, The Duel, The Lady Hermit, Invincible Shaolin, Soul of the Sword, Life Gamble, Shaolin Rescuers, Shaolin Prince, Bastard Swordsman, Opium and The Kung Fu Master, The Supreme Swordsman, Return of Bastard Swordsman, and Hong Kong Godfather. Most of these films will be released sometime during 2010 and 2011, except for 14 Amazons and Shaolin Hand Lock, which are going to be released on March 16.

I haven't watched any of these films before, but I can guarantee they all are great when drunk and with friends.

I would watch everyone of those.  My 3 year and I just watched Drunken Master with Jackie Chan from 1978 and she loved it.  Nothing like watching a 3 year old girl pretend to be drunk and kick her dad in the crotch!

@ethan: I'd pay to see that again.

No Crippled Masters? Still love any Kong Fu movies so these will all get play.
