Bad Amazon, err... good.

Hetalia Axis Powers-
Have you ever wondered what World War 1 and 2 would have been like, if all of the powers were represented by adorable anime characters? Well, I have, and Tokyopop/ FUNimation are set to do something about it. We've know that they've picked up the rights the manga/anime, but only loose estimates on dates... NO LONGER.

Known spoiler of all dates sacred, Amazon, has the first volume of the Hetalia Axis Powers manga listed for release September 28th. Not that Amazon's dates are some sort of binding arrangement, but its likely that the date is, at the very least, close to the release date. So, there you have it. All that stands between you and this farcical bishonen series is $12.99, and well, six months.

UPDATE: A couple of other titles from TOKYOPOP are now appearing on Amazon: Yukiko Sumiyoshi's Black Gate and Masami Tsuda's Eensy Weensy Monster. (Via Kuriousity.)

UPDATE 2: Aaaaand even MORE leaked titles: Secretary's Love (Hisho no Koi), a BL title to be published by TOKYOPOP's BLU line. Via Tanbishugi.

Of course Germany has blue eyes, blond hair and is obsessed with working hard. Just like Italy (particularly northen Italy) is always eating pasta or pizza and is a giant coward. Japan is short with black hair dark brown eyes, has erotic woodcuts and prefers 2D girls over 3D. America is a boisterous always sticking his nose into everyone elses buisness eats a ton of junk food and believes a map of the U.S. is a world map. Canada carries around a polar bear that usually forgets who he is and is either invisible to the other nations or mistakenly identified as America (causing him to be beat up accidently by Cuba) which is because of his shy demanour, although once he snapped at America and brought America to tears after going on a 3 hour long passive agressive rant about everything that is wrong with him. England is cynical from having travelled the world, is prone to losing things (reference to former colonies becoming independent) can see mystical creatures like faries and ghosts and always argues with France about everything. Russia is a yangire having gone insane from all the strife he's been through, constantly carries around a bottle of vodka and shares the title of tallest nation with Sweden and is stalked by Belarus who is is younger sister and has an unrequited love for him.

I could go on but ya everyone is a giant stereotype. Anyway I'm psyched for the release.
