
Seriously though, OVAs usually have a much bigger per-episode budget than a TV series, and can also be decidedly more ecchi by virtue of not being broadcast, so it'll be pretty interesting to see how an Akikan! OVA turns out. I wonder if they'll break tradition by making it actually look good, or if they'll stick to the habit of low-budget? I would actually bet on the latter; in this economy it probably wouldn't hurt them to save money, and fans of the series are used to the show's look, after all.
Still...the
idea of a super shiny hi-quality Akikan!
is rather intriguing...what do you think?
