Ai Sp@ce MMO Gets Mangafied

MMO bishoujo game gets a manga!

If you've spent enough time browsing around otaku headlines in Japanese, you've probably seen reference to Ai Sp@ce within the last year or so. It's an MMO social game through which players interact with one another and with heroines from several visual novels I think you're all somewhat familiar with: Clannad, Shuffle!, and Da Capo II. The game takes place on several "islands" surrounding a larger island, which is modeled to look like Akihabara, Tokyo. Like Second Life, Home, or anything else
The latest news on Ai Sp@ce is that a manga adaptation is going to run in Dengeki G's Festival!, a special spinoff edition of Dengeki G's Magazine that publishes CLANNAD, ToHeart2 Another Days, Angel Beats, Nanatsuiro Drops, Utawarerumono, and other popular moe series. No word as far as I can tell on who is going to draw it or how they're going to arrange the plot (will it really be a crossover of all three games?), but it sounds kind of interesting to me.

So it's going to be an MMMOERPG? Yeah, I had to go for that joke.

OMG, I know and watch all 3 show for the poster.
How many show did I watch that are base on a Visual Novel?

That sounds pretty awesome.  I loved the Clannad and Shuffle! animes so, maybe I will check it out.

@Agent_Lost: Tons :) Once you get past manga adaptations, most anime are based on light novels or visual novels. Well, I don't have numbers to back that up, but I suspect it's the case, with original works being the next category in size. There also is the occasional anime based on a movie (Ultraviolet 44), play (Romeo x Juliet), full novel (Paprika, Gankutsuou), etc. of course :D

I get the strange filing that most of the people playing  that MMO are going to be men. However most the avatars will be women. Which is fine many people play other gender roles in an MMO and the normal ratio of player sex is 60/40 men to women. I just don't see that happening in this game though. maybe 80/20

hmm seems interesting but i need more info...

It's a place where many ronery otaku bulk up - scratching their tummies while dancing and striping their female avatars - I weep for Nagisa; what did she do to deserve such fate?! ToT

That place is SCARY, never, ever go in to it...

And it's not by experience, but a chilly intuiton.
