Dear Anime Vice Users,

I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again to start this letter: I love you guys. Your enthusiasm for anime, manga, and Jpop culture has helped fuel mine for the duration of my time here at Anime Vice.

However, that time is now coming to an end and I will be moving on to a new project. Though I’ll be gone from the news and video pages, I'll still pop in here and there as a user. You can also continue to contact me via PM here, e-mail, or at a new project I’m playing with at AnimeBriefs.com. We’re also available on Twitter at giapet and JohnMartone. There is no way that you won’t find SOME way to get in touch with us.

While we’re both sad to be leaving the Anime Vice news page, John and I are each excited at the opportunities now available to us—John’s looking at a teaching position –and I promise you’ll hear about all our goings-on. Meanwhile, you can keep hanging out here at Vice, commenting on newsposts and the forums, filling out the database, etc. The main difference to you will be that John and I won’t be on the news or video pages—even though we’re still around.

John promises he’ll write, and by that I mean he plans to offer up his own letter to you in a day or so. As for me—thanks for your continued enjoyment of AnimeVice.com, and we’ll be seeing you around!

I think I'm going to cry...
It's been a blast John and GIa (I'm glad I got to meet you in person before all this) and I thank you for being my introduction to my love for Anime, Manga and JPop Culture...

I will follow you in AnimeBriefs and obviously on Twitter....
Thank you for everything, although I wish we would've gotten a last 3-Min Expert, a last Trailer Blast a last Ustream squadcast and a last Unscripted from you guys as a slow goodbye... rather than this abrupt goodbye.. T_T

I will miss you (even though that you're not exactly leaving) it's obvious it won't be the same...

Best wishes from me. Sorry to hear that you wont be working on any more video segments. It all makes me rather nervous about the fate of the site as a whole. I don't want to be spending a lot of time filling things out if it will all just end up being deleted at some point in the future. I only wish I could afford to take more time to of written. I haven't had as much free times as I would of liked. It also makes me wonder what will be appearing on the news segments of the front page.

I do hope things work out well for you on your new site.

Awesome job Gia (and John, speak to you properly on your goodbye), you've been great. You're the reason I visited as frequently as I have and your articles, videos and great sense of humour have continued to amuse. Here's to great success in the future.

Thanks for everything you've done on this site. It was fun while it lasted; from the video tidbits to the wonderful commentary to the randomness of being an "intern" for Fanime last year, this mini home here has been great. I wish all the best!
