Kinda curious how Panty and Stocking is going to turn out.
rubberluffyon Sept. 2, 2010 at 12:06 p.m.
I have pretty much no interest in this list except for Index and Arakawa second seasons.  Also maybe Otoshimono.  Just need to finish their first seasons though.  I've read some of The World God Only Knows manga, but it didn't keep my interest, and Hyakka Ryoran looks like it is just Ikkitousen with Japan instead of China.

The more I see of Panty and Stocking the more my anticipation grows.  It looks utterly insane in all the right ways.

I had some interest in Star Driver before seeing this fabulous clip:
As to the others " Yet the Town Keeps Going" seems nice animated being a shaft production and all...
"Psychic Detective Yakumo" and "Kuragehime" are worth a try too
SamJaz is online on Sept. 2, 2010 at 1:42 p.m.
Keima is freaking awesome, so I'll be watching The World Only God Knows.
Touma is bloody badass, so I'll be watching the new Index.
Tomoki is mindblowingly hilarious, so I'll be watching Sora No Otoshimono FOR THE PLOT.  (Seriously, when the plot kicks in during the manga, oh man does it kick in.)
And Mashiro is pretty cool, but Bakuman is one of my favourite manga so I'll be watching that.
mediarighton Sept. 2, 2010 at 1:54 p.m.
I'm a bit disappointed. There's very little here that's not either extremely cliche or isn't a sequal.

Star Driver looks worth watching a bit of because it's BONES. That pitch probably went like this: "Screw this kiddie Stan Lee stuff! We wanna make a REAL mech show. It's been 5 years since Eureka and two since Xam'd (but who's counting Xam'd as mech...really?)."

Bakuman is a bit of a wildcard. Great manga...but I'm imagining it's going to suck do to it being J.C. Staff and the art budgeting looks meh.

One or two other ones I might check out..., but c'mon Japan. Get your head out of the recession and birth decline and get creative.

I'm sorry but this clip.. this FABBBBBBBULOUS clip, made me want to watch this so hardcore. If it's as good as the clib, I'll buy. No joke. The poses.. dear god, they killed me.. in a good way!

Also got interest in "The world god only knows" and Teganiu no Chi" Maybe "Bakuman"... maybe I hear the manga is great, I wonder how the anime will hold up.

I'm going to agree with here here, I've only saw maybe 2-3 that caught my attention, the others I've never heard of so it would be silly to jump into a sequel.. but it's a nice variety though, just nothing much I'd really be into. But start driver has hit my radar.

A lot of great shows to come, especially Bakuman.

The Definite for Me:
-Arakawa Under the Bridge 2- Enjoyed the first season back in Spring. So why not?

The Maybes:
-Psychic Detective Yakumo- A potentially interesting supernatural-themed title which will depend on how it portrays itself.
-Bakuman- A nod to Shounen Jump? Might be worthwhile.
-Yosuga no Sora- Yet another dating sim spinoff. Premise seems promising yet like Amagami SS, I will be cautious with watching this one.

To be honest I am the most interested in Bakuman... I've never read the manga but the premise seems interesting...
