This isn't particularly anime-related, but hey, they were here, and this is a game I'm actually really excited about! Fairytale Fights is a game in which you play as various fairytale characters who are pissed off because they're not getting the attention they once were-- so they decide to take on the world wielding axes, knives, swords, guns, and whatever else is handy, slaughtering millions in the name of fame.
As you might imagine, it's a pretty gory little game, although the violence is very cartoony-- think the really old-school cartoons, but with more blood. LOTS more blood. Chris, a Playlogic PR rep, talks a bit about the game before walking me through one of the levels, and he also taught me how to "blood-slide," which is sort of like ice-skating...except on blood. It was a really fun, pretty easy game to pick up (in spite of my many deaths); I think a fair number of you would like it.
As long as, you know, watching Little Red Riding Hood getting cut to pieces by a buzzsaw doesn't bother you.

Oh sweet. I'm so jealous...
P.S. You don't suck at "all" video games. ^_^

This better be an amazing game, or I don't know if it will be worth a $60.00 price tag.
The second video doesn't play right for me. It shows fully loaded, but it cuts off after a few seconds.

@FoxxFireArt: Hmmm, works totally fine for me. It's a bigger video than we usually do; maybe a problem caching the whole thing?

The video is working for me now. The game strikes me as along the lines of Little Big Planet, cute characters in a party game setting. The selling point in that game was the breadth of user creator options, not to mention the DLC (i.e. costumes of Wolverine, Sephinroth, Jill Valentine, etc.) The control scheme is quite interesting. I strongly agree about Wiimote use. It would be a great test of the Wiimote Plus system. The chopping reminds me of some of the game in Wii Sport Resort.
By the by, I submitted an article to you, though I seem to notice that you are otherwise 'preoccupied'. No rush. Hope you are having fun.
