The episode opens with HCLI kidnapping an eastern European scientist named Elena Baburin and bringing her back to Koko. The CIA scrambles around trying to figure out Koko's strange new behavior, including her recent visit with Colonel Hinoki from Japan and large hidden transfers of money to Dr Miami's new toy factory. Lutz starts to have doubts as they train for another kidnapping, but the rest of the team convinces him to continue.
Based on the evidence, Bookman finds out that Elena has been placed at the new toy factory, and they think that HCLI is planning to build a quantum computer with her expertise. Bookman also predicts that her next move is going to be springing loose a troublesome hacker nicknamed "Rabbitfoot" from Camp No at Guantanamo Bay. As Hinoki is invited to work with the NSA, a man named Plame mentions that Hinoki's info has essentially been rendered pointless by Bookman, and that his new intelligence has convinced him to scramble SEAL Team 9 ("The Night Nine") to Guantanamo to finish off Koko's team as they retrieve the hacker.
