NEEDLESS

Plot

Set in Japan in the year 2130, NEEDLESS is the tale of the unnecessary: the world is split into the city, and outside of the city. Those who live outside the city have developed unique abilities and powers that were originaly from the second which is a Needless or "God" that had all the powers all at once but died to save the people of Tokyo and gave his powers seperatly and each person could only have one fragment.

When the second died the government continued to try and make another second (A Needless with all the powers) they failed 77 times and they were about to be shut down when they got to new test subjects; subjects AA and AB that were later renamed Adam Arclight and Adam Blade. They later they became enemies because AA failed but was still alive and was abandoned and dumped. Only he later come back to try to become a god to destroy humans to make a world only for Needless.

The only one in who could stop his attempt at achieving his goals would be his enemy Adam Blade who gets in the middle of it all because of Cruz a Rebel child who is the sole surviving Rebel due to Adam Arclight. The Rebels are trying to stop Adam Arclight but just in his path of destruction to become a God.

There are many fragments that the Needless have like Fire and Ice, but there is a learning fragment called Zero Fragment that allows you to have more than one power and still have one fragment.

Both Adam Arclight and Adam Blade have the Zero fragments because they were intended to become the second. Only Adam Blade loses his memory and forgot about his purpose so though his journey to stop Adam Arclight he gets his memory back due to a reverse sweep. That happens when Blades Byakugou meets with Arclights head and its causes everyone who lost their memory (Eve, Blade, Arclight, and professor Gido) to get it back.

Adam Blade's Group

	Adam Blade (アダム・ブレイド) Voiced by: Takehito Koyasu Andrew Love Gender:Male
	Adam is one of the clones of the second Christ he is a priest in the Black Spot until he finds Cruz Schild.
	Cruz Schild (クルス・シルト) Voiced by: Aya Endo Luci Christian Gender: Male
	Cruz is the only known survivor of the uprising against Simeon. After being attacked he is saved by Blade and travels along with them as their gopher.
	Eve Neuschwanstein (イヴ・ノイシュヴァンシュタイン) Voiced by: Eri Kitamura Brittney Karbowski Gender: Female
	Eve who is Blade's partner and originally made to bear his children due to his inhuman DNA. She was raised with Blade by Doctor Gido.
	Gido (ギド) Voiced by: Kenji Utsumi David Wald Gender: Male
	Gido was originally in charge of the Adam project he took Eve and Blade to the Black Spot to raise them after Arclight destroyed the Simeon Labs.
	Momiji Teruyama (照山最次) Voiced by: Kentarou Itou Rob Mungle Gender: Male
	Teruyama attacks Blade to avenge his fallen comrads by mistake thinking he was Arclight. He then teams up with Blade and the others to fight against Simeon.
	Disk (ディスク) Voiced by: Emiri Katou Serena Gonzalez Gender: Female
	Disk a cyborg who resided in Iron Mountain. Even though she looks like a young girl, she is actually 100 years old. After the incident in Iron Mountain, she joins forces with Blade to take out Simeon.
	Seto (セト) Voiced by: Kaori Fukuhara Maggie Flecknoe Gender: Female
	Seto is obsessed with money and became a mercenary to earn tons of it. For a while, due to unknown circumstances, Blade became her partner.
	Solva (ソルヴァ) Voiced by: Asami Imai Elizabeth Bunch Gender: Female
	Solva is the leader of a gang of bandits called The Predators. After being defeated by Blade and Seto, she becomes Seto's partner after Blade leaves them.

Adam Arclights Group

	Adam Arclight (アダム・アークライト) Voiced by: Hiroki Tōchi David Matranga Gender:Male
	Arclight was deemed a failure in the Adam Project he was left for dead at a dump. He worked his way to the head of Simeon to complete his goals of God like powers. He started the Needless Hunt.
	Riru Roukakuji (楼閣寺離瑠) Voiced by: Megumi Toyoguchi Taylor Hannah Gender: Female
	Riru is the right hand of Archlight, she is the leader of the Simeon Girl Force. She used to rule her own Black Spot until she met and lost to Arclight and began a relationship with him.
	Saten (左天 )Voiced by: Kishō Taniyama Leraldo Anzaldua Gender: Male
	Saten a follower of Acrlight and one of the Four he keeps his motives to himself and often holds back information from Arclight in regards to Blade and the others.

Simeon Girl Force

	Mio (未央) Voiced by: Yui Makino Hilary Haag Gender: Female
	Mio has an affection for Blade, and is one of the few people in the series who refers to Cruz by his name rather than as Yamada.
	Setsuna (セツナ) Voiced by: Saori Gotō Jessica Boone Gender: Female
	Setsuna is a member of the Simeon Girl Force she seems to be the leader of the self dubbed Pretty Girl Force as well as the oldest. She follows and likes Arclight.
	Kuchinashi (梔) Voiced by: Minori Chihara Hilary Haag Gender: Female
	Kuchinashi who is silent except for sneezing she communicates through writing on a notepad. Her fragment is Fragrance.
