NEEDLESS

Set in Japan in the year 2130, NEEDLESS is the tale of the unnecessary: the world is split into the city, and outside of the city. Those who live outside the city have developed unique abilities and powers that were originaly from the second which is a Needless or "God" that had all the powers all at once but died to save the people of Tokyo and gave his powers seperatly and each person could only have one fragment.

When the second died the government continued to try and make another second (A Needless with all the powers) they failed 77 times and they were about to be shut down when they got to new test subjects; subjects AA and AB that were later renamed Adam Arclight and Abam Blade later they became enemies because AA failed but was still alive and was dumped to later come back and try to become a god to destroy humans to make a world only for Needless the only one in his way would be his enemy Adam Blade which gets in the middle of it all because of Cruze a Rebel child which is the only serving Rebel left because of Adam Arclight. The Rebels are trying to stop Adam Arclight but just in his path of destruction to become a God. There are many fragments that the Needless have like Fire and Ice, but there is a learning fragment that allows you to have more than one power and still have one fragment so it doesn't break the rule of each person only being allowed to have one fragment. Both Adam Arclight and Adam Blade have these fragments because they were intended to become the second but Adam Blade loses his memory and forgot about his purpose so though his journey to stop Adam Arclight he gets his memory back because a reverse sweep. That happens when Blades Byakugou meets with Arclights head and its causes everyone who lost their memory (Eve, Blade, Arclight, and professor Gido) to get it back.
