The Princess of the Valley of the Wind
Nausicaa is the princess of her homeland called the Valley of the Wind, a land that isn't effected by the pollution of the toxic jungles thanks to the closeness that the villagers have with nature. While a skilled fighter, Nausicaa is a peaceful girl with a devotion towards caring for animals, humans, and other living beings. She frequently travels into the toxic jungles to research its nature and origins using a glider as a means of transport to get around as she is a skilled "wind rider."
