Gray's stripping proved that he's the real deal.

Gray continues to fight Natsu under Daphne's orders. Happy questions if Gray is either doing this on his own will or if he's just an impostor. His question is answered when Gray strips off his shirt and coat proving that he is indeed the real Gray. This is followed by Gray and Natsu fighting each other as always with neither giving in to the other.

Back at the guild, Erza and Lucy begin to worry about Natsu and Wendy's long absence while Juvia becomes concerned about Gray, who hasn't returned either. Erza offers to find them, with Lucy tagging along, and tells Elfman and Juvia to stay behind so that the guild won't be shorthanded after they offered to go with her.

At the hotel, Daphne watches the ice mage and the salamander fight while offering Metamo-chan snacks to Charle, Happy and Wendy. She then reveals to them that she can do concealment magic and that she used the technique "Hidden Cage" to conceal the inn from the outside so that no one would be able to find it. This is proven when Erza and Lucy arrived but were unable to see the inn.

Upon their arrival, Erza prepares to fight the "beast" she had encountered earlier. Once their fight ensued, Lucy tried to help out but another similar beast appeared behind her, forcing her to fight it instead. Erza then changes her armor, but the "beast" changes as well. Lucy switches Virgo for Loke, but the "beast" changes to fight more like Loke. They then both realize that the "beasts" were mimicking their magic.

As Daphne explains her research behind the "beasts", Natsu manages to knock Gray out. Natsu gloats, but then walks over to Gray with concern because the ice mage wasn't getting up. Gray used this chance to freeze Natsu in place while Daphne used "Hidden Darkness" to imprison him.

Daphne reveals her latest creation, the Dragonoid.

Meanwhile, Erza defeats her opponent by requipping quickly enough to strike it with one hit, and Lucy defeats her opponent with Plue. Following their victory, Daphne raises a "Dragonoid", an artificial dragon created by her, which zaps Natsu's Dragon Slayer magic to function. Happy, Charle, and Wendy then reunite with Erza and Lucy and explain that Gray is working for Daphne under his own free will. Soon after, Gray appears on the "Dragonoid" with a smile on his face.
