Naruto's Counterattack: Never Give In! - ナルト反撃!逃げねーんだってばよ! (Naruto hangeki! nigenēndattebayo!)

Summary

Opening Theme-

"Haruka Kanata (遥か彼方)" by: Asian Kung-Fu Generation (Japan)

"Rise" by Jeremy Sweet and Ian Nickus (U.S. TV)

A brief recap of the previous episode is shown. Picking up with Naruto stopping the Kusagakure ninja

from attacking Sasuke, Sasuke warns him to get away due to the enemy's high level of strength. Naruto

decides not to back down. With no other choice, Sasuke offers the ninja their Scroll of Heaven in exchange

for their lives. With his acceptance of the offer, Sasuke tosses over the scroll, but Naruto manages to

snatch it in mid-air. Standing next to Sasuke, Naruto punches him right in the face. He claims that he is a

fake Sasuke (he really isn't) because he is currently acting cowardly. The ninja, exposing his large tongue,

interrupts and states that he'll have to kill them all in order to obtain the scroll. He summons a giant

snake and immediately attacks Naruto.

Elsewhere, three Konoha ninja find the three bodies of the ninja from Kusagakure (Village Hidden in the

Grass). One of them tells another to inform the examiner, Anko, about the situation. The ninja finds

her eating and takes her to the bodies. It's revealed that the faces are missing and Anko is certain that

this is the technique of a certain someone, shown as a silhouette. One of the bodies is revealed to be that

of the Kusagakure that Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke are currently fighting. Anko immediately orders that the

Hokage is to be informed of this right away and that at least two ANBU squads should be in the Forest of

Death.

Naruto, who is corned and exhausted, is attacked by the giant snake and plummets down the forest, hitting

many tree trunks. The ninja orders the snake to eat him. As Naruto falls towards the snake, his eyes

become red and fierce. He then attacks the snake, which backs away. Naruto goes into a frenzy, throwing

many punches at the snake. As he charges at the snake again, the Kusagakure ninja opens his palm and blows out a flame, causing Naruto to fall. He turns his attention to Sasuke and has the snake lunge at him. Sasuke finds himself unable to move once again, but Naruto manages to jump in front of him and stop the snake by pinning him down. Naruto calls Sasuke a coward, saying that this was not the Sasuke he knew.

With his amazingly large tongue, the ninja wraps around Naruto's arms and picks him up.

The ninja figures out that Naruto is the boy with the Kyuubi sealed inside him. He lifts his shirt,

revealing the seal. He then uses Gogyou Fuuin (Five Elements Seal) on Naruto, causing him to return to

normal and faint. As he pulls out the Scroll of Heaven, he states that the chakra of Naruto and the

Kyuubi are beginning to mix. The ninja tosses him aside. Realizing that he will fall straight into the

ground, Sakura throws a kunai knife at him, pinning him against a tree. She then tells Sasuke that despite

Naruto's annoyance, he is different from him because he is not a coward. Sasuke then recalls someone and

awakens his Sharingan once again. The ninja unsummons the giant snake, readying himself for a battle.

Ending Theme-
