ok so i ship narusaku but that is most likely not how its gonna go down. i get the feeling kishi ships naruhina and so does fillers.
kishimoto made comments at his last interview such as
1. sasuke and naruto will be the final battle.
2. sakura will be more heroic
3. sakura loves sasuke (i dont know if kishi said this BEFORE the confession/trying to kill sasuke scenes or after. help me out here)
4. naruto will be hokage.
5. hinata will get her chance at requited love (dunno if this meant the confession while fighting pain, or means she will get with kiba or something)
6. sasuke will get more and more evil.
7. shikamaru ends up with no one.
my theory is: sasuke kills madara after getting ten tailed fox. he tries to kill naruto but sakura sacrifices herself and dies. naruto realises sasuke is beyond help and gets super pissed. he defeats sasuke but becomes depressed. later in the timeskip epilogue, we see him married to hinata and attained hokage level.
my hope: narusaku happens.
