Naruto, one of the best animes so far, when u ask people what anime they have watched, naruto is always in their hmm... so... why is it soo gd ? cuz of the ninjas? sooo sooo many eps and filler -_- rather read the manga... what do you think guys? should naruto just die or other characters be axed off? if so.. which ones? :) i really wanna know cuz i have been asking my self wayy to much

The original series had a really good mix of comedy, action and super well animated fights on a fairly regular basis.
Shippuuden has a less light hearted tone that offers a good mix of disturbing scenes, melodrama, action and super well animated fights on a regular basis. That's what makes it one of my faves.
As far as it ending, I think they should start to wrap it up but there's still a lot of interesting stuff for the anime to cover.
@sickVisionz: thx for ur comment :D and, ur right, i was really into naruto becuz of all the characters and the comedy but then... fillers got to me to i started reading the manga and... just got bored of it, so moved on. Maybe if they did spice it up a bit i would more into but... time shall tell :D

Naruto has reached a absolute perfect spot, a great time for it to end, it has used up everything and the climax is about to start, ending right after the war so in a few chapters would put Naruto at one of the best, but if they drag on and make madara exscape again then it will be like Bleach all over again, One Piece has so much going for it right now and so many things to be solved and battles to happen that it would be dumb to end it now, there are animes that are just as long or longer than One piece (Case Closed) One Piece is a great anime too, but I'm guessing you don't like it much?
It is time for Naruto to end because its becoming dragged on and on now, just look at the past few manga chapters. We didn't need to know how ninjas felt about being revived for battle, I understand the author telling us their power but they didnt need any lines in the manga. But sense the author wants so much character development for each character, Naruto is going to be around for another 2-5 years before its ends. Which means alot more meaningless chapters in the manga and too much filler episodes in the anime. I'm a Naruto fan, but I'm starting to lose interest in it.
a few things need to happen.
kabutorochimaru needs to die.
madara needs to die.
narutos theme of naruto being able to change people should be touched on.
the other theme of the new gen surpassing the previous one needs to happen (ie naruto surpassing his father as hokage, and sakura surpassing tsunade)
naruto needs to be hokage.
a few things kishi said will happen.
naruto vs sasuke is the final battle
sakura will be more of a heroine.
shikamaru has no interest in a gf.
naruto will be hokage.
1 of the unrequited love pairings will be requited. hinata will get a chance
