One of the most common forms of fanservice in all anime. Bath scenes can show bonding between characters, but are more often used as just an excuse to exploit a female character. |

A line or word that is used repeatedly by a character until it becomes a line that they are known for and helps make them memorable. |

In the Naruto universe chakra is a form of energy through which ninjutsu moves can be accomplished. There are five different types of elemental chakras. |

Chibi means to be small in stature. In anime/manga the term is used for a character that is small in appearance and exaggerated features. |

Child Abuse
Child Abuse is the act of an adult striking or causing harm to a child. Not necessarily physical, but emotional abuse as well.There are also adults who sexually abuse kids called Pedophilia. |

Childhood Friend
The character has known the protagonist for a long time, typically all his/her life. If he/she's from the opposite gender there's a high chance he/she has a crush on the main character. |

Child Prodigy
A child who is on the same ability level as an older person. This can include things such as skipping grades or talent at an instrument. |

High level Ninja who have completed the Chunin exam, but are not Jounin |

The Chunin Exams are an event held in the Hidden Leaf where Genin from the Hidden Leaf and other villages go through a series of tests and practical examinations in order to be considered for advancement to the Chunin rank. |

Convenient Censorship
Convenient Censorship such as steam, hair and beams of light are often used in anime and manga to show naked characters while obscuring their "naughty bits". |

Normally in anime and manga a character will wear the same outfit throughout the series. But there are many characters who are known for changing into elaborate costumes, costumes they'd never wear normally, either for comedic relief, to gain power, or for their own mysterious reasons. |
