A bully is a person who habitually badgers and intimidates smaller or weaker people. |

The original Doujutsu that evolved into the Sharingan, still prominently used by Konoha's Hyuuga Clan. |

Catch Phrase
A line or word that is used repeatedly by a character until it becomes a line that they are known for and helps make them memorable. |

Cats
Feline animal with four legs and says "meow." Many are found hanging around animes and mangas. |

Chakra
In the Naruto universe chakra is a form of energy through which ninjutsu moves can be accomplished. There are five different types of elemental chakras. |

Chibi
Chibi means to be small in stature. In anime/manga the term is used for a character that is small in appearance and exaggerated features. |

Childhood Friend
The character has known the protagonist for a long time, typically all his/her life. If he/she's from the opposite gender there's a high chance he/she has a crush on the main character. |

Chunin
High level Ninja who have completed the Chunin exam, but are not Jounin |

Chunin Exam
The Chunin Exams are an event held in the Hidden Leaf where Genin from the Hidden Leaf and other villages go through a series of tests and practical examinations in order to be considered for advancement to the Chunin rank. |

Clone
A Clone is a biological copy of any organic creature. A Clone is mostly created through science and is sometimes abused to an extent. |

Clothing Damage
When a character's clothes become torn from an attack, such as an explosion or energy blast. |

Collateral Damage
Collateral Damage is a military term describing a situation where soldiers destroy property or kill civilians by accident or on purpose. Example:Dragon Ball Z, there is a lot of property damages and lives lost when Majin Buu blows up the whole city. |

Comedy
Nearly every anime has a comedic moment here or there. Everyone likes to laugh. |

|
Convenient Censorship
Convenient Censorship such as steam, hair and beams of light are often used in anime and manga to show naked characters while obscuring their "naughty bits". |

Someone or something to do with cooking. |

Cool character
Someone who remains calm in most of the situations. Even in the middle of battle. |

Corrupt Leaders
Power corrupts. Bureaucratic power (especially tied to other powers) is no exception. |

Costume Change
Normally in anime and manga a character will wear the same outfit throughout the series. But there are many characters who are known for changing into elaborate costumes, costumes they'd never wear normally, either for comedic relief, to gain power, or for their own mysterious reasons. |

Crazy
Characters with serious long mental unstabilities. They're sometimes simply weird but recently they're portrayed as downright homicidiacs. Not to be confused with the Mentally Unstable where the character fights against it and usually wins. |

Huge spikes, multiple colors, gravity-defying ponytails... and it's probably all natural somehow too. |

Crude Humor
A style of comedy that takes a crass and politically incorrect approach to topics considered to be taboo, indecent, or impolite such as sex, violence, bodily functions, pedophilia, race, death, gender, sexual orientation and things that would generally be considered offensive if made light of. |
