Naraku is the main villain of Inuyasha.
This cool, collected main foe of Inuyasha's group has done more than enough to earn hate from nearly every major character in the series. From killing families to casting curses to deceiving others, Naraku has caused enough trouble in his quest to obtain all the shards of the Shikon Jewel to gain ultimate power and to kill off those who are a threat to his plans. Perhaps the most frustrating aspect of Naraku's character is his cunning. He knows when to confront his enemies in combat and to flee when he knows that the odds aren't in his favor.
