Nao was a simple honest college student, but soon finds herself trapped in the dangerous game known as the Liars Game. Now, along with the help of Shinichi Akiyama, Nao attempts to defeat the Liar Game and keep others from being forced into it.
Personality
Nao is shown as being extremely honest, kind, and caring, and has given up riches many times in the series so that others could escape from the Liar Game, even putting herself in debt at the end of the Contraband Game. Though originally she was very naive and almost never doubted what someone told her, her interactions with Shinichi Akiyama have slowly made her grow into a much less dependent woman. She has shown that she is able to lie with great speed and tact, as shown against Yokoya at the end of the Contraband Game, and, though she has been confronted with many horrible things, she still maintains a belief in humanities honesty. She is believed to be one of the major players in the Liar Game.
