Nanoha Takamachi

From there Nanoha had to balance life, school, and being a magical girl. Everything was going pretty smooth until she meets a rival magical girl, Fate Testarossa, both trying to obtain the same goal of gathering the jewel seeds. Being inexperience, Fate had the advantage first, but Nanoha would quickly catch up in skill. Yet even though Nanoha was countlessly assaulted by Fate, Nanoha was being pacifistic about their battles and plead to talk it out and become friends. Fate unwilling to listen, she was "befriended" by Nanoha with a Starlight Breaker. Being defeated by Nanoha's strongest attack, soon after Fate learns about her mother's true intention and her origin causing her to have a emotional breakdown. Precia Testarossa becoming increasingly desperate she activates the power of the jewel seeds causing an huge dimensional disturbance. There Nanoha and her allies were pushed to battle to stop her. Fighting through countless robot minions, together with Fate, they defeat Precia. By the end Nanoha and Fate become close friends and exchanges hair ribbons as a sign of their new friendship. 
 
Times pass by and Nanoha now a stronger mage, she trains and waits for Fate's verdict. But one night she was attacked by Vita, but lost due to the difference of power in their devices. Soon after Nanoha's friend rescue her and fight off the new enemies (Wolkenritter). Being out powered Nanoha pushes herself to save her friends by using Starlight Breaker to destroy the barrier forcing them to fight. She successfully breaks the barrier and causing Wolkenritter to retreat, but not before having her linker core drained. With her linker core drained and her device badly damaged, she is unable to use magic for several episodes. During that time, Nanoha introduces Fate to her Earth friends and helps Fate adjust to her new life. Also through Alisa, they meet a sickly girl named Hayate Yagami, unknown to them is the master of the book of darkness. The devices feeling inadequate, during repairs they request to have the cartage system installed into their frames to match up to Wolkenritter's devices. The engineers agree and Nanoha got back the new "Raging Heart Excelion". Than one day when visiting Hayate in the hospital, they accidentally run into Wolkenritter, revealing Hayate's identity and lead to a fight but are interrupted by mysterious masked men, who traps and imprisons Fate and Nanoha and frames them for killing Wolkenritter in front of Hayate. Causing Hayate to take in the book of darkness and try to avenge her fallen knights. With the help of everyone, they cure Hayate and the book of darkness (now Reinforce), giving Hayate her magical girl status. Soon after Reinforce goes berserk and everyone uses their strongest attacks to weaken it, teleport it into space and destroy it with the arc-en-ciel.  6 years later with their identities reveled Fate, Hayate and Nanoha, along with their friends all go to school together. 

10 years has passed and Nanoha and her friends are now 19. Each are working for the TSAB, in the new squad Riot Force 6 created by Hayate. Nanoha is now an S rank mage and the commander of StarS, and the primary combat instructors for the new cadets, Subaru, Teana, Erio, and Caro. But together the Riot Force 6 is too stacked, with 2 S Mages, SS rank mage, Wolkenritter( Signum: S-, Vita: AAA , Shamal: AA , and Zafira: AA) and a bunch of talented cadets. The commanders had to wear limiters, Nanoha going from S to AA.  Riot Force 6 together fight off various gadgets and numbers (Battle Androids) to protect the lost logia to stop Jail Scaglietti’s plot meanwhile grow as a team. It was also reveled in the anime in a flashback, that Nanoha’s over training has lead to internal damage and nearly cost her life when it finally caught up to her and was stabbed through the chest. Causing her to be hospitalized and nearly disabled, this event has cause Nanoha to be very careful in her training to teach this to her students before one of them repeats her mistake (most notably Teana from her inferiority complex causing her to push herself to the limit in training). One day Subaru and Teana find a girl carrying lost logia and she collapses from exhaustion, Riot Force 6 takes her in and treats hers. This girl was named Vivio and Nanoha soon adopts her along with Fate being her godmother, both gets the title of “mama” from Vivio. At the climax of the conflict, Jail and his numbers succeed in kidnapping Vivio and activating the Saint’s Cradle. Being a grave threat, Riot Force 6 was mobilized and limiters taken off to delay the Saint’s Cradle in till Chrono’s armada can arrive to destroy it and before it can gain access to the power of the 2 moons. Nanoha and Vita both invade the ship’s interior, both decide to go separate ways to accomplish their goals quicker, Nanoha going to rescue Vivio while Vita goes and destroys the engine. But when Nanoha finally reaches Vivio, Quattro manipulates Vivio into an older and stronger version of herself to fight Nanoha. During the fight with Vivio, Nanoha using a wide area search locates Quattro and unlashes Blaster Level 3 on her and fires a Divine Buster literally across the entire ship and snipes her down. This gives Vivio some control over her body, leaving Nanoha with enough of an opening to bind and blast Vivio with 5 Starlight Breakers, returning Vivio to her normal state. But now Nanoha and everyone are too weak to get out alone, but using Wing road and a motor cycle, Sabaru and Teana was able to rescue everyone. With Vita already destroyed the engine, Chrono’s fleet was about to get there in time and destroy the Saint’s Cradle.
