Nanami Aoyama is created by Hajime Kamoshida as one of the main characters in the Pet Girl of Sakura Hall franchise. At this moment, there is no information regarding any inspirations that Kamoshida used to create Nanami. She is voiced by Mariko Nakatsu.

Nanami is a young beautiful girl who has yellow eyes and long brown hair that is usually tied in a ponytail with bangs on the side. Her uniform consists of a pink skirt and a blue jacket over a light blue vest that is covering her short sleeved white, dress shirt with a red tie. Her street clothes is a simple camisole or a blouse with jeans or shots.

She's dedicated to her goals of becoming a voice actress to the point where she over work herself when juggling jobs and school.

Relationships

• Sorata Kanda - Nanami finds Kanda, a kind person. Unlike Mashiro who tries to figure out her feelings for Sorata, Nanami is quite aware of her feelings. Yet, she does not have the courage. She tends to jump to conclusions when Mashiro gives vague answers about her and Sorata that leads her to think Sorata is perverted. They both encourage each other to do their best even in times when they fail. Nanami is the first one to confessed to Sorata on the way to her auditions even though she states it was just a rehearsal.
• Shiina Mashiro - Their first meeting has Nanami mistaking Sorata and Mashiro in a relationship. Later on, she learns that Mashiro cannot take care of herself, and Nanami knows that Mashiro has feelings for Sorata. During Christmas, Nanami overhears Mashiro and Sorata's conversation in front of the fountain, and she did not disturb them. Same thing occurs when Mashiro talks to Sorata who is sadden over his failed interview. Compared to Mashiro, she exhibits signs of jealously while Nanami does not.
• Daichi Miyahara - When Daichi confesses to Nanami after the Nyapollen exhibition in the cultural festival, Nanami did not reciprocate her feelings towards him and walks away.
