A member of the Fairy Tail guild with the power to channel animal spirits. He also has the habit of standing near the request board to pick a job, although he rarely ends up doing so.
Not much is known about Nab except that he's a fairly lazy member of Fairy Tail who usually spends all his time just staring at the job board and wondering what mission he should take on, although he rarely actually goes on any mission. The main reason why he does this is because he tries to find a special job that only he can complete. However, when his friends are in trouble he does snap into action at a moments notice.
He also prefers to go on solo missions which he revealed when Lucy asked if he would go with her.
Nab, who is created by Hiro Mashima, does not have any notes from the author so far regarding any inspiration used to create him. He made his first appearance in Chapter 2 of the manga and Episode 2 of the anime. He is voiced by Daisuke Endou in the Japanese version and Mike McFarland in the English version.
Nab wears an attire similar to tribal people. He wears a necklace of skulls and belt of skulls. In the time skip, he has become fat and has a beard.
When Fairy Tail is attacked by Phantom Lord he joins the battle and storms Phantom Lord's guild for revenge along with his fellow guild members.
During the Fighting Festival arc where each member of Fairy Tail has three hours to find and defeat Laxus or else several members of the guild will crumble to stone, he is seen being overly motivated and hot headed as he charges at Vijeeter, telling him they have to fight or else they will never find Laxus.
During the Edoras Arc where we see an alternate reality version of Fairy Tail where everyone is the opposite of their earth counterparts, we see Nab constantly running around demanding he take on as many missions as possible.
Nab can confine an animal's spirit within himself and then call upon it to aid him in battle.
