Tsubaki is living a normal life till a transfer student, Mikoto Urabe, shows up. She seems to be rather odd, sleeping through lunch period and randomly erupting into laughter during class. One afternoon after school has ended, Tsubaki finds Urabe still sleeping at her desk in the classroom. He wakes her up and sees her entire face for the fist time, previously hidden under her hair, which he finds very cute. After she leaves, Tsubaki finds Urabe's drool on her desk and tastes it without thinking. Soon he starts having dreams of Urabe and comes down with a fever, and Urabe is the only one who knows why.
