Hello everyone! Yesterday (12/21/12 at 8PM Pacific Time), Crunchyroll aired a new simulcast called Boku no Imoutowa Osaka-okan which translated into My Little Sister is an Osaka Momma.

The first episode is about 3 minutes.


Based on the series of popular books called "Osaka Rules" by Chukei Shuppan, the anime series is produced by Toho Company. The anime is directed by Sota Sugahra and written by Kotaro Ishidate. The Osaka Rules novels poke fun at the Osaka stereotypes, people are portrayed as loud, aggressive, and outgoing.

Boku-no-imoutowa“Osaka-okan”, translated to “My Little Sister is an Osaka Momma,” tells the story of Kyosuke, a boy who has been reunited with his sister after 10 years of living apart. However, his little sister Namika is nothing like he remembers.


Kyousuke Ishihara () is voiced by Ryoko Shiraishi
Namika Ishihara () is voiced by Kana Asumi.
Kaede () is voiced by Yuka Iguchi.
