Morita

Origin

Morita is a student of Fujimi High School in Tokonosu Prefecture and a friend of Takashi Komuro. He's the young-man with his finger on the pulse of the school and hears all the good rumors. He also compiled a list of the school's most desirable women that he calls the "Morita Report".

Creation

Highschool of the Dead Vol. 1 JPN (2007)

The character of Morita is a supporting character of the manga series Highschool of the Dead that was written by Daisuke Sato and illustrated by Shouji Sato. The series first began serialization in Fujimi Shobo's Monthly Dragon Age magazine in July 2006.

Her first appearance was in Hightschool of the Dead Volume 1 CH. 1 "Spring of the Dead", and his appearance in the story was removed from the anime. The role Morita originally played in the story was replaced by Saya Takagi in the anime adaptation. He has only been seen alive in flashbacks.

Spring of the Dead

Two hours before Fujimi Highschool was overtaken by Them ( zombies), Morita went to see his friend Takashi. He went to ask him if the rumor was true that he had been dumped by his childhood friend Rei Miyamoto for another friend, Hisashi Igou. Takashi confirmed and tried to shrug it off since Hisashi is a nice guy. Seeing that Takashi was alright, Morita sneaked back into the school dorms. He wouldn't survive the attack on the school. He was captured, bitten, and changed into one of Them.

After the outbreak as Takashi is looking over the crowd of Them attacking other students, he notices Morita has been changed and is dragging the corpse of a girl behind him.

The contents of the "Morita Report" lists the the girls in the order: Saeko Busujima, who he wants to see in the naked apron outfit, Miku Yuuki, who rumors say is promiscuous, the pair of Misuzu Ichijou and Toshimi Niki, and Saya Takagi.
