Moments of the Chance Meeting
This episode jumps back to about three years before the events of the previous episodes occurred.
Near the beginning of this episode, Kagura's mother is dead, and her father sends her to live with another family of exorcists, including Yomi Isayama. Kagura has trouble interacting with others, mentioning that her father was a harsh teacher, but Yomi tries to get her to relax by playing a simple game with her.
Later, Yomi gets called away to perform a mission, but after triggering a painful memory for Kagura she decides to take her along for the mission. Yomi introduces Kagura to the other members of the team, and gives a brief explanation of her job. After Yomi defeats an evil spirit, her father blames her for putting Kagura in danger, but Kagura claims she is used to the trouble.
Kagura later tells Yomi that her exorcist father is not her real father, but that both of her real parents were killed by an evil spirit and ended up under the care of her current father. Yomi tells Kagura she wants to be her older sister.
