Ahh, Osaka: home of the Kansai dialect, Japan's gourmet food mecca, and center of the world for moe? Oricon reports that Osaka is holding auditions for a “moe ambassador.”
Apparently Osaka is hosting a new event, Japan Pop Culture Festival, in September, and they're trying to find the moe-est moekko they can to represent the event and Japanese pop culture in general. They're selecting her by audition, and she'll take part in various PR events for the festival, including the event itself and Osaka's tourism campaign, a fashion show, and other stage events.
For the auditions they're seeking girls age 16-21 with an interest in Japan's cosplay, anime, and game culture (and yes, they put cosplay first), and apparently the auditions are being held at the upcoming Taiwan Comics Matsuri taking place in Osaka.
So, I'm not 21 anymore, but I think I might be moe enough to audition anyway. What do you guys think I should do for my audition?
