New Gundam Series?

NEW UC GUNDAM SERIES!!!

Thank you ANN for making my day. For the 30th anniversary of Gundam, there's going to be a new series taking place in UC 0081 with an RX-78-7 Gundam, according to an upcoming issue of Monthly Gundam Ace. Don't know how long it'll be, but I would expect a 6-13 episode series. Still, a just-barely post-OYW story with an RX-78 has me psyched.

Yeah.... I'm getting kind of sick of what amounts to MSV Gundam series... When it comes out I'll take a look, but if it ends up being like another "Astray" series, I'm not gonna bother...

I was never a fan of Gundam, and I have no clue what UC 0081 or RX-78-7 means :P

UC0081 is just over a year after the original series takes place. RX-78-07 is in the same line as the RX-78-2, the original Gundam.

I've just been wanting a new UC series for a while. While it's not Unicorn or Blue Destiny like I had hoped, as long as it's done well, I'm happy.

I have seen barely anything from Universal Century, but still this excited me like a kid on christmas eve.
