Mitsuki is a 12 year old girl with a throat tumor who wishes to become a singer to find her long lost love.
When Mitsuki Kouyama is diagnosed with throat cancer, she is already devastated. However, when two shinigami named Takuto and Meroko confront her and tell her she only has one year to live, she is determined to audition to become a singer to fulfill her dream of finding her long lost love Eichi Sakurai. Reluctantly, Takuto agrees to turn her into a 16 year old with a healthy body to fulfill her last wish. Mitsuki then passes the audition with flying colors and takes the stage name Full Moon (her name translated to English) as she makes her debut as a pop star, all the while keeping her identity a secret from her grandmother.
