Mission: Help an Old Friend in the Land of Tea - いざ新任務 義理と人情と茶国を救え! (Iza shin ninmu Giri to ninjō to Chakoku o sukue!)

Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura are sent on a B-rank mission to the neighboring Land of Tea. They are to protect the runners in a race being held during the Todoroki Shrine's ceremonial ritual held every four years.

• As a filler episode, none of these events happened in the canon manga.
• Though Shizune and Tonton both appear in this episode. Neither of them have any spoken lines.
• When Sakura is shopping in the Land of Tea, The toys they are selling are miniature figures of Tonton, Katsuyu, Gamabunta, Manda, Pakkun, and Gamakichi, All are summoned animals, with the exception of Tonton.
