Mio Akiyama Forum

Spotted this beauty on the official KyoAni site: it's a really nice figure of Mio. You know the things that typically impress me most on a figure: a lively face, an energetic pose, and really nice hair. This figure of Mio Akiyama from K-On! is 3 for 3: the face is cute, albeit not very detailed, the hair is great, and her running pose just looks fantastic (if unlikely).

Mio is ¥8000 (about $89 USD) and is due out this July. As far as I can tell she's ONLY available on KyoAni's shop and she's also totally sold out, despite preorders only going up a little over a week ago (February 6th).

Aw...well, maybe they'll re-release it. Or maybe someone will put it up on eBay.
