Mio Akiyama Friends

The newest member of the Light Music Club. She's an excellent guitar player and is very devoted to playing music. She's not fully comfortable with the club's very laid back attitude.

A classmate and friend of Ui and Azusa, they together make up the Kouhai Trio in K-on! She reluctantly joins the jazz club rather than the keionbu because of a strange encounter in the clubroom. She plays bass.

Ritsu discovers the 'light' music club, only to learn that the former members graduated last year. She decides to become the club's president and use it to start a band. She plays the drums.

Sawako Yamanaka is a teacher at Sakura High. She is originally the adviser of the wind instrument club but then she was forced to become the adviser of the light music club by Yui, Mio, Ritsu and Mugi.

Tsumugi seems to be a 'well-to-do' (aka: rich) high school student who walks in on the 'light' music club. She is inspired to join the club as a keyboardist and wields damn freaky eyebrows

Yui Hirasawa's younger sister, she's much more responsible than Yui.
