Minori Chihara is a popular Japanese seiyuu and singer. Her fans often refer to her as "Minorin."

After working as a radio assistant for seiyuu Mariko Kouda, Chihara began voice acting in 2004, earning herself a lead role as Aya Natsume in Tenjho Tenge as well as the smaller role of Ohana in Samurai Gun. Her next big role-- her most popular to date --was that of Yuki Nagato in The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. After that she took on the heroine role, Toa, in Dragonaut ~The Resonance~, Chiaki Minami in Minamike, Minami Iwasaki (and herself) in Lucky Star, and she has continued to voice Aya in Tenjho Tenge continuations.

In addition to her voice acting, Chihara is an accomplished singer and guitar player (her guitar is named Go-kun). She began singing early on and was one of four finalists in a 2003 competition, although she did not win. In 2004 she put out her first album, HEROINE, at King Records. She started two radio programs of her own in 2005, and has put out five singles and two albums on her own, as well as a large number of anime singles.
