Personality

At first glance, Mikuru is simply a cute, sweet, and very busty (but otherwise perfectly normal) second-year high school student, the darling of all the boys at the school. She's also a little ditzy and klutzy on occasion, but generally in an endearing fashion.

Behind this façade, however, lies a cute, sweet, busty, ditzy, klutzy time traveler. Mikuru was actually sent from the distant future to the series' "present" in order to observe Haruhi Suzumiya. Unbeknownst to Mikuru, the person who sent her and who instructs her is actually her own future self, Mikuru Asahina (big), who is only slightly more put-together than Mikuru Asahina (small).

Mikuru is fond of Kyon, tolerant of Haruhi and her sexual harassment, and somewhat scared of Yuki and Itsuki. She is also friends with Tsuruya-san. She has no particular skills, except perhaps tea-brewing. Kyon has a crush on her. Mikuru is the "mascot" of the club, and is used to obtain stuff: aka, Haruhi gets pictures of people harassing her (Haruhi forces them to harass her), and uses it to get stuff.
