A mysterious woman that assists Akira when in danger.
An anime-only character in the series, Mei is a Chinese vampire who appears to have a past connection to Akira. Often helping the guy out of dangerous situations, Mei makes use of the hard candies that she normally eats as projectile weapons flinging them at her enemies like bullets and is deadly accurate with them.
