It looks like Marina Inoue, the seiyuu of Yoko from Gurren Lagann, as well as the now famous singer, is quickly becoming a modern day Leonardo Da Vinci. Now she is putting down the microphone, and picking up the pen by becoming a mangaka. Marina Inoue is creating a magical girl manga called “Kuma-tan Senshi Hoippu-chan” translated to “Bear-tan Warrior Hoippu-chan” translated to “Hot Loli Likes Bears, Chan”. She uploaded two pages of this mysterious manga on to the internet so far, and has completed a total of eight pages.

What we know so far is that the story is about a girl who gets some kind of power from a bear. It is unknown at this time whether or not the girl is in any kind of relationship with said bear. Other than that the manga looks ok; though not something I’d read. Unless of course she decides to draw Yoko into the story and maybe forgot to draw her clothing; then I’d read it.

That interesting. I just received the Gurren Laggan Lucky Star pack (It has the dvd, cd, and a Yoko art book thing) and in the art book thingy I did see one of her drawings.  Its just cool that she is going out to create a new manga.

It's most likely part of the manga shorts that the three main Minami-ke seiyuu (Sato Rina, Inoue Marina and Chihara Minori) are producing for the Minami-ke radio cds.  They each had their own mini manga with the first series of dj cds and this current round seems to have a few pages from each seiyuu for each mini manga.  They're first press limited items with each dj cd.

You can see a sample of the Higashi-ke mini manga from the last dj cd here:   http://www.animate.tv/digital/web_radio/detail_108.html
