Points of Interest

  • It's unknown who Caribou is referring to about reporting the information about Shirahochi's power.
  • The possible source of Pekoms devil fruit powers is the legendary Turtle Lion. The turtle lion is based upon the Chinese mythology of the Xuanwu (玄武), known as Genbu in Japan; and is one of the four major Chinese constellations. Several statues of the Xuanwu can be found around the Forbidden Palace in Chine.
  • Nami and Nico Robin are suddenly wearing new outfits while traveling back to their ship, but it's unknown where they got these clothes. Possibly from the clothes Nami got from Pappagu's store and never got the chance to take them to the ship.
  • Franky, Fukaboshi, Ryuboshi, and Manboshi appear in this episode, but they have no spoken lines.
  • Unlike most Marine Captains, Tashigi's long coat is a light pink instead of white.
  • It's unknown who gave Smoker the large scar on his face. Between long absences, Smoker tends to return with some new scar.
