Yoh is amidamarus main spirit ally who helps Yoh in his quest to become the Shaman King.

Yoh's loving, though undeniably strict fiancee, Anna Kyouyama is an itako with the ability to summon spirits from the dead and read minds. Her goal is to make Yoh the Shaman King, so she can live happily by his side as the Shaman First Lady.

Ryu is a very muscular man with a very unique appearance.

Horohoro is an Ainu shaman whose goal to create a vast field of Butterbur to save the Koropokkuro.

Mansumi Oyamada is the father of Manta Oyamada, and he is the head of a big company.

Mosuke is Amidamaru's friend and he is the swordsmith who crafted Harusame, Amidamaru's sword.

Ponchi and Conchi are Tamao's spirits. Interestingly, they are less disturbing in the anime than their counterparts. Appear in 18, 19 and vol 6 and 7.

Ren Tao is an arrogant Chinese shaman who wants to become a Shaman King. He has fought Yoh once and lost.

Member of the Patch Tribe, a tribe of Shaman's who craft "Oracle Bells", which are used as a kind of com-link to the gods. Silva has 5 trained animal spirits and combines them to his body to use in battle

He is Manta's butler in the manga, but is Manta's uncle in the dub anime.

Yoh is a laid-back teenager who happens to also be a Shaman and the main character of the anime Shaman King. His goal is to become Shaman King so he can live a care-free life, while also granting the wishes of his friends, family, and fiancee Anna.
