Creator of Heavy Metal L-Gaim and the Five Star Stories.
1960- . Born in Kyoto, Nagano's anime debut was Heavy Metal L-Gaim in 1984. Later design credits include Brain Powered, although he is chiefly known as the creator of Five Star Stories. In 1991 Mamoru Nagano married voice actress Maria Kawamura (who also voiced Lachesis Fatima in the Five Star Stories movie).
