Farm Girl in Ocarina of Time: Past
In The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of time the video game, you first meet Malon in Hyrule Marketplace as a young girl around the same age as Link, she is looking for her loaf of a father Talon who owns Lon Lon Ranch. Malon gives you an egg which once hatched into a cucoo, is used to wake up Talon.
After waking up her father, Malon returns to Lon Lon Ranch with him, you are able (and have) to go to Lon Lon Ranch while Link is a child, at Lon Lon Ranch Malon teaches Link "Epona's song" (which later allows link to ride Epona the horse)
