A cool-headed Senjo Academy student and the object of Agari Yamato's affections.
Sayama Makoto attends Senjo Academy, along with Agari Yamato, Matsumoto Kiyose, Otake Akitsu, Oume Hibari, and Kodaira Rune. It is unknow whether she knows, but Yamato is seriously (and somewhat obsessively) in love with her. She is known to be extremely cool headed and strangely calm. Although she has helped Yamato in embarrasing situations since they were only 10, she often has a cold glare to her face afterwards, suggesting a hidden meaner side to her. She seems to become more aware of things only when Yamato's name is mentioned, such as when Oume Hibari was regarding the split-bus incident; Sayama seemed to notice more than the others when she heard Yamato's name.
