Makinami Mari Illustrious Forum

So, I was talking to some friends last night about Evangelion 2.0: You Can (Not) Advance (namely, how much we want to see it!), so I thought it was about time to present to you some delicious Mari Illustrious Makinami art.

I have never had a good place to stand on the Asuka vs Rei debate. I think they're both excellent characters, but I don't find Rei's detachment particularly inviting, nor Asuka's combination of tsundere and mommy issues pleasant. Just...not my thing. So I look at Mari and wonder: is this the Eva girl of my dreams? Unfortunately, we haven't heard much information about her personality. Still you can get some idea based on some of the fanart that's been offered up from Japan in recent months...enjoy!



What do you think about Mari so far?

@Baku_Sensei: It's fanart, so you can expect that item to be exaggerated =P But she certainly seems outgoing!

@HeeroYuy: Asuka is practically the ORIGINAL tsundere (though some would argue that Sayaka from Mazinger Z is the first, few would say Asuka was not). She obviously has other character traits, but her childish affection-disguised-as-antagonism towards Shinji is THE classic tsundere trait. See also: Naru, Akane, etc.

Oh dear lord this makes me sweat in an extremely good way.
