When Seigi gets shot, a key pops out from his robe. Then, the curtains fall. Seigi struggles to crawl away. A blonde woman speaks with Seigi and says he has gone too far. A person grabs Seigi and pour some substance down his throat. Seigi gets hit by multiple knives once the blonde woman disappears. While Seigi dies, he tells Kiri to remember the leader of the Gossip's name, Lady Violet Witch. He tells Kiri to not sympathize with him and states that he has kept his pride to the end. Lady Violet Witchy explains that the queen had torture and executed many women who had long, black hair. This is how the curse began. Then, Iwai grabs Lady Violet Witchy's waist and begs her not to hurt Kiri.

Moments later, Officer Zenigata arrives to talk to Kiri and the others about Seigi's death. When Kiri remarks how Officer Zenigata had feelings for Seigi, Officer Zenigata laughs. She shares that Insteads were necessary for Authors. She enjoy the connection that they shared where Seigi would run away while she gets suffocated. Officer Zenigata sheds some tears. In the parking lot, Sumeragi smokes and notices Lady Violet Witchy walking nearby with her men. Meanwhile, Kiri shares how he felt after seeing someone get killed right in front of his eyes. He wonders if he will end up like Seigi. Iwai embraces Kiri and cries when she is scared. Kiri licks Iwai's hair and pushes Iwai on the couch. Kiri licks Iwai's chest and up to her neck. He gently bites Iwai's ear, and he kisses Iwai's forehead. Iwai tells Kiri not to die when she says that she has lips, too. Kiri now knows what it means to protect.
