After accidentally drinking a love potion, Louise becomes extremely clingy and attached to Saito. After Siesta sees them together, she mistakenly thinks Saito has chosen Louise and doesn't believe the love potion excuse, so Saito tracks down Montmorency and demands that she make an antidote for her love potion.
Saito, Montmorency and Guiche travel to a village that has been mostly flooded underwater. Montmorency tries to make a contract with the water spirit to gain an ingredient for the antidote to the love potion, but the spirit asks them to defend her from some other mages who have been attacking her.
Saito helps set up a trap, only to find that the mages in question are Tabitha and Kirche.
The mages call the water spirit again, and she agrees to give the party a piece of herself for the antidote if they will give her back a treasure that was stolen by a man named Cromwell. She claims that the Gandalfr can be trusted.
Back at school, Louise is finally freed from the effects of the potion, but unfortunately she remembers everything that happened while the potion was running through her system, and she is about to take it out on Saito when the Princess shows up for an unexepected visit.
