Black Lagoon Company is hired by Chang, the leader of the Triad in Roanapur. He wants them to deliver a briefcase full of important documents to the CIA. Before they finish negotiations, they are attacked by the terrorists mentioned in the documents. They escape in the Black Lagoon, where Revy and Rock split off to deliver the briefcase themselves, hoping to avoid detection. They are caught anyway. Revy escapes, but Rock is taken prisoner.

Points of Interest

• The poster in Revy's room, The Wild Punch is a parody of the movie The Wild Bunch(1969). The poster is even the same.
• Though this is Mr. Chang's first appearance in the anime. It's out of continuity for his first manga appearance. The Bloodsport Fairy-tale Arc occurred before this arc in the manga.
• One of the tools the man is threatened with in torture is a garlic press.
• Chang is one of the few people that Revy speaks to with a respectful honorific. She uses the honorific Danna (旦那, だんな).
• In the manga version of the story, the Lagoon Company fell under a full scale attack by the terrorists during the trip.
• In this episode, Leigharch compares Revy to Mary Read. She was a famous female pirate captain during the early 1700s.
• In the anime version, Revy calls Shenhua "Yes Lady". This is a comment on Shenhua's poor English.
• Basilan is an island province of the Philippines.
