Lita Kino

Origin

Makoto Kino is a tomboy who transfers into Usagi's school. She is very tall and strong for a Japanese schoolgirl, she can transform into Sailor Jupiter, attacking with lightning and with some control over plants. When she was young both of her parents died in a plane accident so she lives alone and takes care of herself. Although she is never seen working anywhere she always seems to be financially ok. She is most known for her physical strength. When first transferring to Usagi's school there was rumorers of her being kicked out of others schools for attacking teachers and students. Even though everyone was terrified of her, Usagi wasnt and quickly made friends with her.

Although she is a black belt in karate she is also has a black belt in cooking. Whenever going out with the group or just going to someones home she always 'brings goodies' and everyone seems to enjoy her cooking. She also seems to enjoy cleaning and doing other domestics things which at first shocked the other sailor scouts.

She seems to have a very protective personality. If someone is hurt or if someone is messing with one of her friends she will quickly confront the person causing the problem and make them back off. She is also very loyal.

Lita in Her Average Form

Even though she is busy with school and as a Sailor Scout she hopes to marry young and own her own flower and cake shop.

Her powers are electrical in nature and she calls down lightning from the sky in an attack originally called "Supreme Thunder". Her powers were later upgraded and her increasingly stronger attacks called "Supreme Thunder Dragon" and "Super Supreme Thunder". However she is not immune to electricity and has effectively committed suicide by targeting her own body before. Like most of the other Senshi she has died and returned to life several times.

Creation

Lita's first anime appearence was in Sailor Moon Episode 25, and her first anime movie appearence was in Sailor Moon R: The Movie. Out of all the original Inner Senshi, Lita is the thrid to be introduced. Right after Sailor Mars, and right before Sailor Venus.

Powers & Abilities

Anime Attacks

Supreme Thunder Supreme Thunder - The first attack we see Sailor Jupiter use, and as an introduction to her powers, this attack is electrical based. As Sailor Jupiter calls on words of power, a small gold rod comes up from her tiara and conducts lightning, bringing it down from the sky and being charged, until Makoto eventually releases the built up electrical energy.      Supreme Thunder Dragon Supreme Thunder Dragon - This attack is a more specific type of Supreme Thunder that only appeared in one episode of Sailor Moon R. The process of the attack is the same as Supreme Thunder, however more electrical energy is produced and it takes the shape of a large dragon when attacking the foe.      Sparkling Wide Pressure Sparkling Wide Pressure - A more advanced electrical attack, where Makoto puts her hands together and produces a static ball of green energy and throws at her opponent.      Jupiter Oak Evolution Jupiter Oak Evolution - This attack is the only one that isn't electrical based by Sailor Jupiter, instead its a wood based attack. It starts by spinning very fast and releases leaves of energy from her hands in a sort of whirlwind.

Other

Color Scheme

Makoto's color scheme is unique and different from the other scouts. Her main color is a very bright dark green, this color being shown at her skirt, boots, and cuffs of her gloves. As well as the jewel at her tiara, and the basic color of her attacks etc. Her support color is a very fun pink, light and bubblegum. It is seen with both her bows and her pearl hair tie.
