Hello everyone! The wiki editing team and I just finish another anime project, Campione! This project only covers the episodes since we don't have much time to do them now.

We started the project on July 7, 2012, and after 13 episodes, we finished it on September 29, 2012. It was an intense project since it was the first time that my teammates and I took on multiple wiki projects on the new summer anime and older anime shows.

For those who are new to Campione!, here's a synopsis:

CAMPIONE! surrounds protagonist Godo Kusanagi, a high school student that kills a god, claiming its power and title of Campione, to slay other gods. This harem love comedy is bound to be filled with magical battles.

My teammates are Daniel Newton and Sonata, and the independent wiki editors who help out in the wiki pages are FoxxFireArt and AnimeReviewDaily.

• Daniel helps out with formatting the anime series and episode wiki pages. His character tables look awesome, and he adds anime art from the Nyantype and Megami magazines.
• Sonata specializes in making profile images and adding powers to the characters

Episode Work

Since Campione was a new summer series, my priority was the episodes. With the episode summaries all added, we can work on the characters.

All episodes have a Crunchyroll synopsis except episodes 1 and 13, and I included weekly reports which helps promote discussion and the wiki.

	Ep. 1: Tale of the Beginning Kusanagi Godo arrives to Italy to deliver a grimiore to a lady, Lucrezia Zora, that his grandpa has met a long time ago. He bumps into Erica Blandelli who fights a boar god and into Victor. See Weekly Report.
	Ep. 2: The Landscape with the King Godou wakes with an unexpected guest in his bed, a guest that is here to stay. See Weekly Report.
	Ep. 3: From Afar, An Enemy Comes Athena has come to Japan looking for Medusa and for that Godou will have to die, again. See Weekly Report.
	Ep. 4: Rogue Athena Godou will have to set aside his pacifist ways and go full on attack against the newly restored Athena. See Weekly Report.
	Ep. 5: Unpleasant Days Yuri is growing closer to Godou and sparks of jealousy fly from Erica. But that is the least of problems considering there is a new Campione in Japan. See Weekly Report.
	Ep. 6: The Kings Converse Godou has picked a fight with one of the oldest and strongest Campiones, Voban. See Weekly Report.
	Ep. 7: Wind, Rain, Wolf Voban has caught up and Godou is running out of ideas. Mariya makes the ultimate sacrifice, in front of Erica. See Weekly Report.
	Ep. 8: A Hero Arrives A simple trip the beach turns into war for Godou’s affection, which he only manages to escape with the help of Athena. His troubles are only beginning… See Weekly Report.
	Ep. 9: The Missing King Godou is resting at Liliana’s home after his fight with Perseus. He does not have the knowledge to fight Perseus on common ground, Athena visits offering a deal. See Weekly Report.
	Ep. 10: The Turbulent Demon King, The Sun Hero Without the knowledge, Godou has no chance of defeating Perseus. He could order Liliana to give him the knowledge but that is not his way. How will Godou defeat this ancient hero? See Weekly Report.
	Ep. 11: Princess Shrine Maiden of the Long Sword A maiden has come willingly to join Godou’s ranks, but his currents Knights have other plans. See Weekly Report.
	Ep. 12: The Sword of Amano Murakumo In order to save Erica, she must sacrifice herself, body and soul, to Godou. See Weekly Report.
	Ep. 13: Tale of the God-slayer Metis arrives to absorb her daughter, Athena. It's up to Godou and the gang to defeat Metis and save the world. See Weekly Report.

Plot

Metis arrives to gobble up her daughter Athena. It's up to Godou and the gang to defeat Metis and save the world.

Good

Godou, You Lolicon!

• If you love the unique kissing elements in Campione, you'll love this episode. Basically, Godou kiss all the girls in his harem and Athena. I love how the girls just gasp at Godou kissing Athena.
• Godou's fight is much better than rest. I did not like his whole history lecture. It's great that he only gave it once. The CG in his fight with the swords was a nice touch.
• Erica and the girls got some action. Though, it's mostly Erica.

Bad

• Sometimes, screaming in battle works in intense fights, but for this show, it was a bit annoying.
• If you want a manlier character who can beat the enemy on his own, you would hate Godou who just takes energy from the girls by kissing them. For me, Godou is between weak and strong male leads.

Overall, this episode was the best in this show since it has a good amount of action, lip locking scenes, and friendship talk.

Lip locking Scenes

I don't know why Metis blushes when she's kissing her daughter. It was weird watching the two girls who look like twins kissing.

I love how Ena's kissing scene was dynamic since it's not a profile shot. This is all in chronological order.

Welcome to the weekly report! Last week was the end of Perseus's fight, and we learn more about Liliana's quirky side. With the addition of Liliana into Godou's group, this week's episode introduces a new lady, Ena Seishuin.

Plot

After Ena introduces herself to Godou and his so-called mistresses, she notes that Godou and Yuri are friends instead of lovers. To make sure that the Italian knights are not getting the upper hand, Ena engages with Erica in one one one duel.

Can Erica beat Ena to assert her dominance in Godou's harem?

(Sorry for being a bit sexist)

Good

Erica always has those beautiful moments

• Ena is another interesting love interest who is quite straightforward. The part where she tells Yuri to handle childbearing and sex is pretty strange yet humorous.
• Shizuka gets some spotlight, and it seems she hates Erica a lot. I like how she is against Godou's harem because to me, she represents logic. Godou's harem is not that realistic enough for fans to relate themselves. They just feel shallow.
• For bizarre, Athena who crashes into Godou's home. Her loliness makes her look so innocent. I just like how Athena looks harmless on the outside while she's a bit naughty on the inside.

Bad

Darn, I wanted the cat fight to be longer

• It was slow and a bit boring at the beginning until we get to Ena's match. Liliana and Yuri didn't do much besides exchanging glances and small talk.
• Repetitiveness: Liliana did the same thing when Erica transfer into Godou's school. It wasn't funny enough to poke fun at the transfer student stereotype in anime.
• Beautiful Moments: It seems that Erica has the good shots. She has these gorgeous moments while the other girls get squat. Where's Liliana or Yuri's? All we get is some kissing which is getting a bit old.

The episode is decent since this series is like a hill. It starts to build up action for each fight and a love interest, and it falls. Right now, we're at the boring slope of the hill since the action is just getting started. Hopefully, Erica and Ena finish the match. Godou is being too much of a wishy-washy gentlemen.

Howdy everyone and welcome to the Weekly Campione! report. This week's episode is the end of the Perseus's battle, and it sheds light on Liliana's character who we thought is a reserved tsundere. Looks like she has fallen for Godou and join his group. I didn't want to say harem, but you can say it that way.

Godou still does not have a chance to defeat Perseus unless he has some background information on his enemy. Liliana has the answers from Athena's divination, but the only way to teach the information to Godou is that Liliana has to kiss him.

Can Liliana and Godou work together to defeat Godou without kissing?

(Hell no, you guys and gals already know the pattern)

Didn't see that coming, eh Perseus?

• Godou's fight with Perseus was definitely better than Duke Voban. Godou had more action since in the Duke Voban's fight, it was the girls who had the spotlight. Liliana had a good scene during the battle.
• Kissing: If you guys and gals loved these scenes, this episode had 2 girls and a total of 6 kisses. Liliana scored 4 kisses, and it was her first time while Athena had stolen 2.
• Athena is the most interesting girl I find so far. Even though she helped Godou and Liliana, she has a bit evilness to her.

Bad

Is that all you got, Campione? Do you have to kiss a girl to beat me?

• Repetitive Process: I don't know about you guys, but this is quite too predictable. It's like the Duke Voban's fight. Godou has to learn information, and the only to teach the dumb guy is to have someone kiss him. It's usually a woman. It'll be weird to see a guy in future episodes. Anyways, he uses his Golden Sword and gives a history lesson . If that fails, he and his partner usually beat the enemy with their usual attacks. (I thank Sonata for pointing this out)
• I hope Godou has some interesting powers later on to make the battles more better and less talkative. Talking is good, but it should done in moderation to make battles more exciting.
• They should add suspense in uncovering the gods' true origins. Make us guess.

Bizarre

• Since all the people who had info on the enemies are women, what would happen if Godou finds a man with information.
• Why didn't Perseus just beat up Godou before he kisses Liliana?
• In these duels, Godou always had help while the enemies are usually by themselves.

Overall, this episode is good, and for Liliana fans, you'll love it. They should do some episode previews, and I'm wondering if the next girl will show up. I'm stoked to see her.

Welcome to the Campione! weekly report! I find it interesting that the episodes are in little arcs that cover a certain girl and her relationship with Godou. The first two was about Erica, episodes 5-7 was about Yuri, and episodes 8-9 cover Liliana.

Plot

Liliana and Godou work together to uncover information about Perseus, and Athena proposes to Godou that she will give the information if Godou do something special for her. Meanwhile, Erica and the gang are stuck without communication or electricity for the appliances on the island.

Karen: Work that body, baby!

• It's always the maids who are interesting and devilishly naughty. Arianna cannot be compared to Karen who is quite twisted. I just love her.
• For Liliana, I'm amazed at her quirky side. I seen her tsundere side, but her wild imaginations are hilarious.
• Fan Service: If you guys love it, I find Liliana's scene a refreshing change. I don't mind Erica, but she is boring now. Liliana does fan service in a funnier fashion.

Bad

Do you hate tsunderes?

• Harem Cliches: You might hate it when the guy is not accepting the girl who is offering herself. Hell, Godou is just a goody two shoes, but I see his perverted side slowly waking up with all the kissing stuff.
• I can't state this exactly, but I find the flow of this episode strange. Perseus just retreats because Athena told him Godou will provide a better challenge, and Godou uses this time to research his opponents. The story of this episode is not clicking with me.
• I just found out some folks absolutely hate tsunderes and their cliches. I don't mind them.

Overall, this episode is good but not perfect. It's excellent that Liliana and her maid Karen making lots of humorous moments.

Welcome to the weekly Campione! report! I hope to continue to do this weekly, but when school rolls by, I might do this biweekly. Last week's episode finished Godou's battle with Duke Voban. We haven't seen the last of him. I still wonder about the fights between Campione. Are they held by rules like a fight for the best Campione or random battles? It's probably the first one.

Plot

Erica and Lucrezia trick Godou in going to Italy for a little vacation. Elsewhere in Napoli, Liliana watches Salvatore slashes Hera's Seal that attracts a dragon. A mysterious person arrives to stop the dragon. Godou meets a familiar person.

Who is the blonde man and who did Godou bump in Italy?

It's Godou and Liliana's turn

• If you love fan service and beach scenes, this episode is good for you fans. There is a naughty scene where the girls fight over Godou while smothering him with their bosom.
• Athena makes another appearance. Though, she somehow got Perseus to fight Godou.
• Looks like we might have Liliana and Godou emphasis for this episode and maybe the next one. The last two episodes were about Yuri and her past.

Bad

• Hit or Miss with cliche fan service and harems: Some of you might hate this because there is a bunch of cliches such as girls fighting over Godou and Yuri's towel falling off. Yuri slaps Godou for being pervert even though it is Yuri's fault for not tying her towel properly.

Bizarre

It looks like Arianna is drenched in...

• These thoughts are probably formed when my head is in the gutter. Yuri plays the motherly role while doing the shrine maiden/virgin fetish. Erica is the front liner, and Liliana plays hard to get or the tsundere part. I'm not sure about Athena. Some folks say Athena has a thing for Godou. I say let's wait to see some more stuff from her.

Overall, this episode is good but not great. I hope the Perseus battle is more better than Duke Voban's battle. Athena's battle with Godou is the best in my opinion because it had an even teamwork between Erica and Godou.

In Duke Voban's battle, the girls did most of the work, and Godou was just kissing them.

Welcome to the Weekly Campione! report! Last week's episode sets up the battle between Godou and another Campione, Duke Voban. It started with a meaningless pursuit, but we got more of Yuri and Liliana's back story.

Plot

In the Campione battle between Godou and Duke Voban, Godou is at his wit's end until Yuri and Erica lend him some "help" (wink, wink, nudge, nudge).

Can Godou beat Duke Voban?

Verdict

Liliana feels left out :)

• Godou and Yuri got their relationship jump started.
• Liliana becomes an ally after Erica's strange black mail. I like her Tsundere personality and her and Yuri's reactions when Erica kisses Godou right in front of them.
• The girls stole the spotlight from Godou. I felt they did most of the work in this episode.

Bad

Godou's Words of Power not only hurts his foes but bore them to death

• Too Repetitive: I love how cool Godou's golden world and the swords are since the first episode. It reminds me of Archer's Unlimited Blade Works reality marble. Yet, it starts to get boring since Godou keeps doing the same thing. He has to kiss to receive information about his enemies to activate his Words of Power ability and Golden Sword. Plus, the duke is very persistent, and the process repeats twice.
• Catfight: I know we guys have some weird fascination when two girls start beating up each other up. Yet, Erica and Liliana's fight wasn't that great. It didn't have enough action.
• Characters so Far: What do you guys and gals feel about the characters. I thought Yuri was cute, but she is a bit whiny. Hopefully, she changes. I like Liliana the most in this episode than Erica because I think I got a soft side for tsundere characters.

Overall, the episode is good but not great. It had some decent action, but it gets a bit repetitive when Godou starts rambling about the gods and background on Duke Voban's powers. It's good for the wiki pages, but it didn't have enough suspense to keep the fans interested.

Welcome to the Weekly Campione! report. Last week was a mellow episode that brought some attention to Yuri Mariya. This week, we get a better insight on her and her relationship with Duke Vobon and Liliana.

Plot

Duke Vobon challenges Godou in a game where Godou must avoid capture by the duke until dawn in order to free Yuri.

Can Godou do it?

Verdict

Beware of Spoilers

Good

• We finally get to know Yuri's back story and the ritual she did four years that was supposed to summon Athena for Duke Voban.
• If you're a fan of Erica, she had a lot of action scenes; Godou didn't do much.
• The action is building up for the next episode since Godou's Horse avatar didn't do so hot against Duke Voban's werewolf form. Makes me wonder how will Godou beat the guy.

Bad

Erica: Know your place, Yuri.

• Competition or Not:I put this as a maybe for you guys. I tend to like harem shows if the potential love interests are competitive. Yuri is just too submissive to Erica. I hate to be off-tangent, but I find Ayeka vs Ryoko or the Rosario Vampire ladies funny when they fight over the guy. Some fans don't like the cliche. It's up to you guys, and it's a bit early in the series. I'm hoping for some competition.

Overall, this episode is more exciting than last week's episode. I hope the action picks up in the next episode. It's too bad that we don't get a episode preview clip. Maybe, Athena will show up to Godou's rescue, or Godou becomes a man and beats the guy himself.
