Light Yagami Friends

Soichiro Yagami is Light's father and head of the Task Force assigned to capture Kira. It was from him that Light was taught about the importance of justice and goodness to triumph over evil.

His accomplice and girlfriend. Misa first announced herself as Kira to Demegawa, and it was from there that Light found her. Although she possesses the Shinigami Eyes and is technically more powerful than Light, she becomes easy for him to manipulate.

His shinigami sidekick. Ryuk is usually easygoing and excitable, often seeming incompetent, but most of his behavior stems from pure boredom with the usual ways of a Shinigami.

His mother.

His sister. When she was kidnapped by Mello, Light showed genuine emotion towards this incident.

The Fourth Kira, but the third discounting the Yotsuba Kira. He considers Kira his God, and believes that he was blessed with this power to "delete" those who he considers unsuitable for life, such as criminals.
