Leysritt is a Homunculus created by the Einzbern family to serve as a maid, bodyguard, and caregiver for Illyasviel.
Leysritt was a defective Homunculus of the Einzbern family in their goal of creating the Holy Grail. She was given new life as a maid and bodyguard to Illyasviel. Designed in mind to protect Illya from harm, her combative capabilities were maximized to their absolute limit. However due to this, she lacks a complete sense of self, giving her little in the way of ego.
Leysritt serves as a minor character within the Fate/ Stay Night franchise. She was originally going to be designed as a male butler who served Illya. However her current design was later utilized due to insistence from one of the visual novel's art directors. She makes appearances in Ufotable's TV adaptation of Fate/Stay Night Unlimited Blade Works, Carnival Phantasm and seasons of the Fate/Kaleid Line Prisma Illya anime franchise. She is voiced by Miho Miyagawa in Japanese and Meaghan Avocato in English.
Leysritt stands at 162 centimeters (almost '5'4") and is notable for having the largest bust size among female characters in the Fate franchise at 92 centimeters. Her waist is 58 centimeters and hips are 84 centimeters. She has short silver hair and red eyes. In the Fate/ Stay Night series, she is normally dressed in her maid attire. In Fate/ Kaleid, she wears a white shirt with brown color along the sleeves and neckline, with her midrift and shoulders exposed; as well as a pair of jean shorts she normally has unbuttoned while around the Einsbern household.
Despite having little ego, Leysritt did gain a sense of reason due to her bonding with Illya. She will normally say whatever is on her mind without consideration and will get into verbal conflict with her maid partner, Sella. Leysritt has a more casual personality compared to Sella's formal and refined persona, but has difficulty expressing these aspects to herself due to the nature of her creation.
In Fate/ Kaleid, she has more defined personality as she is easygoing and known to dump her chores onto Shiro.
Leysritt is sent along with Sella to serve as maids and guardians to Illya throughout her participation in the Fifth Holy Grail War. She mostly served as a background character in all routes of the series, yet had a role to play during the events of Heaven's Feel when she sacrificed her life to form the Dress of Heaven that Illya would later wear to save Shiro's life.
Leysritt retains her role as serving as one of Illya's maids. However, her presence in the series here is to serve more as a comical foil to Sella's serious personality as she is normally not as serious with doing chores around the household.
For Fate/Stay Night, Leysritt's physical enhancements as a Homunculus give her a high degree of superhuman attributes enough as such to match a Servant. In battle, she wields a large halberd made out of a rare metal called Rhenium which is three times denser than iron and much too heavy for a human to use. The weapon is made in mind as a defensive weapon as it is inferior to regular combative weapons such as swords, lances and axes.
